What to expect

A Professional Manner

As well as professional acting, dj'ing and teaching experience, I have also worked in restaurant and hospitality management and have acted as a consultant to the hospitality industry; on presentation giving and speech writing skills. So, you can be confident that my interactions with your family, guests, staff or clients etc, and any announcements needed during your event, will be conducted courteously and professionally. Likewise I dress appropriately for your event and have a tuxedo for formal occasions.

The Right Equipment

I use only professional PA equipment including; Peavey, Newmark and Gemini brands. I always carry a smaller back-up rig for emergency use or for use as a satellite system if your function includes 2 distinct locations; such as providing incidental music to a wedding ceremomy as well as cocktail and party music for the reception.

No Hidden Costs

The price quoted will be the price you pay. My contract does make provision for additional fees if the function runs excessively over the time agreed (typically only if this is in excess of an hour), or if set up of equipment is required particularly in advance of the event, or if equipment breakdown after the event is substantially delayed. I have never charged extra for set up or breakdown and, when it appears that an event is likely to go over the time agreed, I always discuss this with the client and obtain their approval before incurring any additional fees.
